The airports sector in Mexico is projected to show significant growth and development in coming years, spurred on by burgeoning air passenger demand and a need to upgrade Mexico’s transport infrastructure to assist the country’s economic growth.
With the National Infrastructure Plan in place, the liberalising US/Mexico Air Transport Pact recently signed and a new $9bn state of the art airport due to open in Mexico City in 2020; there couldn’t be a sounder time to take a look at what’s happening in, and to enter, the Mexican Airports sector.
Mexico presents an exciting opportunity not to be missed by those working in the sector with a major programme of airport expansion planned, including a US $170m airport infrastructure renewal programme and a brand new state-of-the-art airport in Mexico City to be built, with an estimated cost of $9.2bn.
Airport Solutions Mexico will provide a gateway to a greater LATAM audience whereby major airport infrastructure expansion projects are supporting the increased demand from rising passenger traffic.
Attendees at Airport Solutions Mexico will include leading stakeholders looking to take advantage of the opportunities presented by this fast-paced and dynamic market including: Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacífico (GAP), Central-North Airport Group (OMA), Southeast Airport Group (ASUR), Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA), Government Ministries of Defence and the Navy Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil (Mexican Civil Aviation Authority), Ministry of Communications and Transportation, Mexico and IATA.
