Emerson Network FTA903 is a power transfer switch designed for use when pump room size constraints will not allow an integral controller/transfer switch configuration, or where a transfer switch is now being required on an existing installation. The power transfer switches are built in two configurations for use when the alternate (emergency) source is a generator set. It is use when the normal power source is a utility and the emergency power source is a generator set. The disconnecting means and overcurrent protective devices required for the normal side of the transfer switch are supplied as part of the transfer switch package.
