Berkley Fire and Rescue is a combination department with approximately 45 on-call volunteer members and 4 full-time personnel. They respond to thousands of medical and fire emergencies, alarm activations, motor vehicle accidents, and many other requests for service that initiate within the 16.4 square miles that comprise the boundaries of the Town of Berkley as well as request assistance from local towns and other state agencies.
