Cervinka RF002 FIRE FIGHTING FOAM KARATE AFFF 6% F

Technical Specification

Features:
  • Make: Cervinka
  • Model code: RF002
  • Type: KARATE AFFF 6% F
Additional info:

KARATE AFFF 6% F is specially formulated for extinguishing and securing flammable hydrocarbon liquid fires. It is based on foaming agents and stabilizers. The combination with low concentrated short chain fluorocarbon surface active agents, which comply of course with the EU directive 2006/122/EG, produces a vapour-surpressing aqueous film that spreads rapidly over hydrocarbon surfaces to provide rapid control and extinguishment. The unique combination of active ingredients ensures fast flame knockdown and extinguishment, long burn-back resistance and high level of security by re-sealing the foam blanket when ruptured by personnel or eguipment. KARATE AFFF 6% F is perfectly balanced between performance and efficiency even when used with soft or hard, fresh, brackish, sea or treated industrial water. KARATE AFFF 6% F in intended for use at a proportioning rate of 6% (6 parts concentrate to 94 parts water) on hydrocarbon fuels such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, etc. It can be applied with conventional discharge devices as low and medium expansion foam. It complies with the requirements of the standard DIN EN 1568 Part 1 and 3 (2008) as fire extinguishing foam concetrate to generate low and medium expansion foam for combatting fires of classes A and B according to DIN EN 2. It is non-toxic. Technical data: Density at 20°C: 1.04 - 1.08kg/l Freezing point: < -15°C  pH Value at 20°C: 6.0 - 9.5 Kin. Viscosity at 20°C: < 3 mm²/s                        at 0°C: < 10 mm²/s                     at -15°C: < 20 mm²/s Sediments: none
